On 14th October 2025 the Supreme Court of Gibraltar appointed Frederick White and Bradley Chadwick of Grant Thornton Limited as Joint Administrators of Premier Insurance Company Limited (“Premier”).
On 1st April 2026 the Supreme Court of Gibraltar granted Bradley Chadwick leave to resign as one of the Joint Administrators of the Company and granted an unconditional release pursuant to section 92(1) of the Insolvency Act 2011.
The Administrator will continue with the management of policies and the settlement of claims arising under insurance policies issued by Premier dependent on the approval of the Administrator’s proposal by creditors.
Insurance creditors may be eligible for protection from the statutory compensation scheme – the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The Administrators will be liaising with and assisting the compensation scheme facilitating the submission of eligible claims.

The Financial Ombudsman Service is no longer able to assist customers with complaints against Premier. The Administrator has engaged Quest Consulting (London) Limited (“Quest”) to assist with the claims process, including the oversight of complaints handling.
